Membership has an annual fee of $60, and grants you discounts when utilizing their OHV recreational areas (wheeling and camping). Typically, you will make your membership money back during your second or third visit to one of their parks during a year. If you're a high roller like Guilbeaux, then you can spring for a Lifetime Membership at a cost of $1000. This will pay for itself in a short 16+ years! More importantly, your support helps the only organization I know of in Texas that is actively trying to open places for you to wheel, that will never be closed by a land owner or government policies (The Slabs, anyone?). Best of all, TMTC is a 501(c)3 entity, so any contributions are fully tax deductible.

Founded in 1999, Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC), a 501(c)(3) educational and economic development based non-profit Corporation, has developed into a 1,400 member strong family-focused motorized recreation advocate in the State of Texas. Members ride motorcycles, ATV’s and 4x4 vehicles at our parks.

Vision Statement
Texas Motorized Trails Coalition promotes family-oriented motorized recreation in Texas. TMTC, in partnership with business, government, environmental organizations, and other motorized sport organizations, is recognized as the leader in expanding responsible land use for off highway vehicles, ensuring availability and access for future generations.
TMTC currently owns and operates the following OHV areas:
(BMRA)
BMRA comprises approximately 1,800 acres in North East Texas and has been in operation since 2000. BMRA provides over 140 miles of recreational OHV trails, BMRA has multiple group camp sites, 20 RV sites, offices, toilets and showers, and a pavilion for member use. BMRA is located 5 miles north of Gilmer TX on highway 155. It is around 130 miles east of Dallas and 260 miles north of Houston, Texas. BMRA is open most weekends starting at 8 AM on Friday through dusk on Sunday. Holidays and special events will alter this schedule. Hours of operations should be checked on the .
(EDRA)
EDRA is a 3,400 acre property located in west Texas. The economy in this part of State has been sustained by ranching and the oil/gas business. The land still represents the untamed and primitive values of the old west. When the property is completely developed, it will provide a wide range of motorized trails supporting all levels of challenges. EDRA is located in western Crockett County, approximately 30 miles southwest of Ozona. Ozona is 205 miles northwest of San Antonio along Interstate 10; and around 100 miles south of San Angelo and 150 miles south of Midland and Odessa, Texas. Volunteers are currently working to build the recreational trail system. Property improvements will be added during the next phase of development.
