I think would be a pretty cool site to check out for a week. It's not too difficult wheeling wise but has some beautiful scenery, campgrounds, and a lot of Texas history (not having had been there myself).

Big Run:
Date: February 27-March 3rd, 2013
Place:
How long: Parker is throwing out a Wednesday - through Sunday. My only issue with that is that two of those five days will be spent driving, leaving us with only three days. I've heard that you can spend a week or two there pretty easily.

Yea I've heard big bend is a pretty neat place. I'd be interested in heading there.

I don't usually set out to exclude people.

Dud I say we were excluding? No. But with a group that we have and making arrangements, it's not customary that we expect others not in the group (spouses and children) will be in attendance. Not that it's an issue, just need to clarify that way I know how to plan as well by inviting wife and kids.

Wow, someone is a little sensitive.

This one seems like a family friendly run to me. Obviously they they don't need to come, but I don't see any harm in having them. Depends on what we are doing. If we are camping - less likely than if there are accommodations. Just my opinion. It's an open discussion.

Oh I'm all good with family coming, I'm sue Maria and the kids would love to explore Big Bend, we've never been.
